Mr. Christenson has more than 37 years of experience in the golf industry, having served as Vice President of Agronomy, Regional Agronomist, Golf Course Superintendent, and General Manager across multiple regions of the country. He has been involved in numerous golf course construction and renovation projects, major championships, and has contributed extensively to the profession through board and volunteer leadership roles.
Jon has served as Chapter President of three GCSAA-affiliated chapters and has participated on numerous national committees through more than 20 years of volunteer service. In recognition of his contributions to the industry, he has received honors including Club Manager of the Year, the Charles Calhoun Writing Award, and Alumni of the Year.
In addition to his professional experience, Jon played both college golf and baseball.
