Joel is the founder and owner of Pacific Sierra Seminars, a pest management and pesticide regulatory consulting firm. Pacific Sierra’s primary focus is providing pesticide safety training and exam preparatory courses for California’s various pesticide license examinations.
Joel spent more than 30 years working for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife as the department’s Integrated Pest Management Coordinator. During that time, he coordinated invasive weed control projects on department-managed lands in both aquatic and terrestrial environments.
