Damian Pascuzzo is a golf course architect and Past President of the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA). He began his career working alongside renowned designer Robert Muir Graves, contributing to more than 100 new golf course and renovation projects throughout the United States and internationally.
In 2003, Damian began collaborating with PGA TOUR professional and two-time Ryder Cup player Steve Pate on the Monarch Dunes project. The success of that partnership led to the formation of Pascuzzo & Pate in 2006, where the pair have developed award-winning golf courses and renovations in the United States and Japan.
Among their notable projects is the renovation of the Sumire Course at Murasaki Country Club, which was selected to host the 2020 Japan Open. In addition to golf course design, Damian and Steve advise clients on key issues affecting modern golf, including water conservation, turf reduction, and evolving regulatory requirements.
Through Pascuzzo & Pate, Damian continues to promote innovative, sustainable, and accessible approaches to golf course architecture while supporting the development of facilities that meet the needs of future generations.
