Paula Sliefert is an accomplished marketing leader with extensive experience in senior management roles across major corporations. Throughout her career, she has supported key industry partnerships and led strategic initiatives to grow market share among professional and collegiate sports organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies at the federal, state, and local levels.
She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Sports Field Management Association (SFMA), a nonprofit member organization dedicated to advancing professionalism and safety in sports field management through education, advocacy, and industry development.
In addition, Sliefert is the Executive Director of the Professional Football Field Managers Alliance (PFFMA), where she champions and supports the NFL’s professional sports field managers. In this role, she works closely with the field managers responsible for maintaining safe, high-performance playing surfaces that meet the league’s exacting standards.
A proud Simpson College alumna, Sliefert earned her bachelor’s degree in German and International Business before completing a master’s degree in German at Bowling Green State University. She further broadened her global perspective by studying and working abroad in Germany and Austria, participating in a work-abroad program with Mercedes-Benz, and attending the University of Salzburg.
