Michael Gainey, PGA, serves as the Career Consultant for the Southern California PGA Section and is a dynamic and trusted leader with experience across multiple facets of the golf industry.
Throughout his career, Michael has worked in golf operations at public, resort, and private facilities, developing a broad understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing golf professionals at every level.
His diverse professional background also includes experience in law enforcement, project management, independent golf instruction, business ownership, and golf club research and development.
A dedicated PGA Member, Michael has served on the Board of Directors for both the San Diego Chapter and the Southern California PGA Section. He is also actively involved in mentoring future industry leaders through the SCPGA Associate Mentorship Program.
